AFG has emerged as the largest privately-owned training organization in the Americas. With 12 training centers that it owns and operates across 6 countries, AFG provides Full Flight Simulator (FFS) training to a diverse range of airlines, including Ultra Low-Cost carriers and major airlines in the USA, Mexico, and Europe. The company's ability to adapt and manage various contract types has facilitated the development of numerous long-term partnerships. The primary mission of the company is to offer airlines with limited training options alternative services that meet their increasing and urgent training needs, all while being in more convenient geographical areas and at competitive prices.

2013

Timeline

AFG was established in 2013 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with the aim of delivering cost-effective training solutions to rapidly expanding airlines. By adopting a boutique-style, low-cost approach and maintaining a high level of agility, AFG has emerged as the largest privately-owned training organization in the Americas.

 

2014

Las Vegas, NV

AFG Las Vegas facilities

Established in 2014, this center serves as a hub for Spirit and Allegiant Air, both of which are our ultra-low-cost carrier clients. Furthermore, it houses the Allegiant Air Training Department, which occupies the entire second floor.

CDMX, Mexico

AFG Mexico CDMX facilities

AFG has established a Boeing 787 simulator and an EMB 170 Flight Training Device (FTD) at the Aeromexico Training Center, marking its inaugural entry into the Mexican market. This installation is part of a 10-year exclusive agreement aimed at addressing Aeromexico's training requirements.

Dallas, TX

Established in 2016, this facility, located near the Dallas/Fort Worth Airport, collaborates with various airline and flight school partners, including Envoy, Spirit, and Avelo.

2018

Cancun, Mexico

AFG Cancun facilities

This training center was established with two A320 Full Flight Simulators and an ATR simulator. It was designed to facilitate training operations for Mexican airlines and South American carriers seeking a more accessible geographical location for their training needs. The center ceased operations in November 2024.

2019

Monterrey, Mexico

AFG Monterrey facilities

This facility was constructed by AFG to meet the needs of the Mexican low-cost airline Viva Aerobus, which has entered into a 10-year exclusive training agreement with AFG.

Medellin, Colombia

AFG Medellin facilities

AFG successfully secured a highly competitive contract to construct the inaugural Training Center for the rapidly expanding low-cost airline, Viva Air. However, following Viva's bankruptcy filing, the facility has ceased operations.

Madrid, Spain

AFG Madrid facilities

Following the company's achievements in North and South America, AFG initiated its expansion into the European market by establishing its inaugural training center in Spain.

Dallas 2, TX

AFG launched a second Training Center in Dallas, spanning nearly 120,000 square feet, as part of our ongoing expansion efforts in the United States. Our primary customers include ATP Jets, the ATSG group, Envoy, and Piedmont.

Rome, Italy

AFG Rome facilities

This training center was established in partnership with the flight school and ATO Aviomar. It was situated north of the city center, and is no longer part of the AFG Portfolio.

Warsaw, Poland

AFG Warsaw facilities

To capitalize on our achievements in the Americas and to sustain our growth in Europe, we partnered with Enter Air, Poland's premier charter airline, to launch the country's first commercial aviation training center, facilitating its growth in the European market.

2021

Orlando, FL

AFG has established a training center in the Orlando region to meet the increasing training demands in the Southeast US. This facility features six bays dedicated to full flight simulators and will primarily cater to the pilots of Frontier and Spirit Airlines operating in central Florida.

2022

Minneapolis, MN

The latest center to launch in the United States and serves as the training headquarters for Sun Country Airlines.

2024

Frankfurt, Germany

Our expansion into the European market is progressing steadily. As a result of our strong partnership with Condor, we have launched a comprehensive Aviation Training Center in Dreieich.

2024

Tel-Aviv, Israel

This Training center has opened in collaboration with El Al, and represents a significant achievement. This alliance is set to generate new high-paying employment opportunities for residents of Florida and Israel, reinforcing the existing partnership between the two regions and paving the way for future collaborations in the aviation industry. We are eager to explore the new possibilities this relationship will bring and anticipate the growth of both organizations.
